Google is not showing me good results when I search for product reviews. Instead I find ads, clickbait links and SEO'd content. It would be great if there was a search engine or a space for honest and authentic reviews based on real experiences. This list is a start and I'd love to add your reviews, especially if you have some really great things to recommend. The world needs more of it and I hope this list inspires you to build better stuff. And I do this because I think it’s possible to improve our taste in products (and alost anything) by criticizing them. Decide what makes them good or bad, what you would change, add or remove, what could be improved, etc.

Zwilling Professional S 8” Chef’s Knife
I love this classic and timeless knife design. The handle and blade blend into one piece and achieve a perfect weight balance. I use it almost daily since years now and I can sense it will last for many more. Photo © Zwilling

Osprey Farpoint 40
This backpack made my boardings at the airport a lot easier. Its size complies with the European standards for air transport, so I can always take it with me on board and avoid paying additional fees. It is spacious as a suitcase and the backrest is really comfortable. There are several pockets, including one for a laptop. I always use it when I travel for work or during the weekend. Braun Citrus Juicer 3050
It has no buttons. To start juicing you simply press the fruit on it – as easy as it should it be. It’s remarkably powerful and although it is solid and robust, it takes up very little space. The anti-drip spout works great. Its pure, fucntional design makes it easy to use and clean. It was designed in 1972. Mine is over 2 decades old and still works and looks great. This proves that it has passed the test of time and will probably stay unsurpassed for the next 50 years. Photo © Braun

Miele
Here I'm not reviewing specific products but the companys that creates them. My parents have always chosen Miele for their appliances and using them made me a big supporter as well. Their products are really well designed and you can feel all the thought and work behind them. Washing machines and dishwashers are Miele at its best. They simply wash better, with less water, but most importantly, they last 2-3x longer than competitors. Miele may look expensive, but in the long run it will save you money and troubles.

MacBook Pro, 15-inch, Mid 2014
By now it is fossilized, but this is by far the best laptop I've ever used. The current one I have is definitely a step back. Are we getting worse at making computers? I haven't tried the newest ones though. Photo © Apple

Patagonia R1 Full-zip Hoody
This is probably the piece of clothing I've worn the most in the past few years and it shows almost no signs of usage. It's highly breathable and keeps you both fresh and warm — whether you're doing sports or at work. Truly versatile, but could be more affordable though. Photo © Patagonia

Tolomeo Tavolo, Artemide
My parents bought me this lamp in 2004 and I'm still grateful for it. The materials and finishes are of superb quality. Its iconic and timeless design fit in every environment. The Compasso D'oro award won in 1989 acknowledges this incredible work of Italian design and craftsmanship. There are many other products that do the same job at a much more affordable price, but it is unmatched in terms of durability and aesthetics. Photo © Artemide

Portable work lamp
You can hold this lamp in your hand with a great grip or you can hang it just about anywhere. The solid cage allows you to direct the light without blinding you. Makes it easy to work in many circumstances and very useful for lighting outdoor spaces as well. Maybe it doesn't look great, but that's not the purpose. It's a purely functional tool with no fancy decorations. Design is how it works. Photo © Amazon
